That should be the next million dollar question. If heaven is such a great place to go home to, it seems like punishment to have to live until old age. If heaven is such a great place to go home too, it seems like everyone would try to live dangerously. If heaven is such a great place, we should be begging for death. If heaven is such a great place, why did we leave there in the first place?
This weekend we are going to celebrate the homecoming of Steele. He above all deserves his rest. I for one can’t wait to join him. Until then, I’ll be here. Let’s be happy that he found his peace and celebrate.

Where: Multipurpose Room, Rex Nettleford Hall, University of the West Indies, Mona, Kingston, Jamaica
Time: 11 am
Dresscode: Joyous
What you can do:
Bring goodies: specifically, food and drinks. We are having a ‘nyammings’/potluck (google it) after the service. That means, I am asking you to bring something with you: like a bucket of chicken, or a 2-litre soda, bottle/case of wine, etc. etc. Everybody brings something, no matter how small, and we all eat, drink and be merry together. (Please email me in advance – noellenicolls@gmail.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it – to let me know what you are bringing, or if you would like suggestions). Steele didn’t like much fuss, but he did like to have a good time with friends and family. What you don’t bring, we won’t have, so don’t come empty handed.
What else to bring:
A joyful spirit and a heart full of love.

He saw me for the first time, when I walked acorss the Red Square, probably going to the computer lab, while he was playing cricket. That’s how the love affiar began.
