Street Ball Bahamas: A Photo Documentary

Noelle Khalila NicollsLove Letters

The Woman of Steel is on the prowl. Spread the word: This Christmas, I am traveling across New Providence to photograph African men playing street basketball. My documentary is a tribute to the beautiful, royal, African soldiers of The Bahamas. If you are a ‘baller’, contact me so I know when and where you play (strictly street ball, not league games).

I am treating one court to a happy hour party first thing in the New Year: Thursday, 8 January 2010. On that day I celebrate the birthday of my lost love, Kirk Steele, and the radiant love of African men still alive and well. My sistren will vote on the hottest team. The judging criterion is who sweats the most and plays the hardest.

Look out for me courtside!

Ladies, feel free to participate by voting, joining me court side and for the winner’s party. Oh, and enjoy the digital eye candy.

Check out my photo tribute to the Fort Charlotte Drumming Circle. Free African spirits communing with the soul of the world. Strong African brothers and sister bringing forth the day in fellowship with nature.
