Dear Steele: If I told you that there was a type of kung fu women practice using their sex organs you would probably think I was misinformed. Well last month I wondered about the euphoria before the orgasm and whether it was possible to convert that sexual energy into other forms of energy, like passion for work, or love of the other, or healing for our bodies. Well this month I found my answer. There is a way to do it called Ovarian Kung Fu.
For the Taoist, sexual energy is one of the most potent forms of energy because it can be transformed into a higher spiritual energy and can be a means to attaining rejuvenation. Women contain a lot of life-force energy in their ovaries and sex organs, which is not difficult to comprehend seeing that it is the same energy that produces babies. A woman’s sexual energy, or yin essence, on the other hand is thought to be a vital source of healing energy.

It was certainly an act of divine intervention that I happened upon this random book, Healing Love through the Tao: Cultivating Female Sexual Energy. Let me tell you how serious these people are. They teach men how to draw out the yin essence from a woman’s sexual fluids through the pores of his penis; this is seen as the secret to immortality.
In ancient China, they have this story about an emperor who was seeking sex advice from one of his sages. The prospective sage would have to succeed in a test to prove his aptitude in sexual control. “He did this by offering the would-be advisor a full glass of wine and demanding that the sage insert his penis into it. If he was truly a master, he would be able to absorb the wine into his penis and then release it back into the wine glass.”
Trust me, when I say we have become so unimaginative when it comes to sexuality. No wonder we have so many problems that all tie back to the way we think about sex.
