Dear God: When Steele said he finally felt the love, I wonder if what he was thinking was that he finally felt worthy, he finally felt good enough. When you feel worthy of love it helps your soul to grow and it opens you up to feel another level of emotional connection with the world. When you don’t feel worthy of something you don’t feel anything; you feel numb to the world; you feel powerless and overcome.
When Obama said we are the one’s we have been waiting for, in a sense I think he was talking about the same thing. We are usually waiting on something external to ourselves to provide everything for ourselves, including our feeling of self worth. When we realize we are worthy of everything we desire and have everything we already need, then we realize we were the only ones the universe was waiting on to wake up, or to get off our ass, or to crawl out from under the bed, or to get off our high horses, or to take off our blinders.
